I'll come back to it later when I've maxed out the other important buffs with gems. IMHO, I wanted to pay the gems to get the buff to an even 100%.
Idle monster td gem spending upgrade#
I know this upgrade is scattered through out the other upgrades, but I think paying for a couple of percentage points makes sense, as does the Crit Hit Damage buff, since each upgrade location is multiplicative of all of the other locations.

I've seen players who struggled to get to 750, get boosted right up to wave 1100 with the damage boost they received from the re-roll (your results may vary!), but at the very least you should be able to get to 800 with it, thus unlocking Godly monsters.įirst, where do you prioritize Crit Hit Chance and Crit Hit Damage? IMHO, getting your crit hit chance past 100% is important. So that means you get the Game Speed Bonus, the Tech Scroll Bonus, Spell Duration, and much more.Īpplying the artifacts to T4 will also give you a HUGE damage boost.

In addition to that - I have yet to come across a situation where a 750 re-roll does not max out all T4 artifacts (that can be maxed).

Even the Damage is much stronger than the previous. So this way you are guaranteed to have T4 get a large amount of the artifacts you already have and the T4 artifacts are FANTASTIC. By choosing to re-roll, it takes all of the artifacts you unlocked already (150 of them) and re-applies them, now allowing all 150 to be applied evenly amongst all 4 tiers. When you beat 750 you unlock T4, and thus is the first opportunity to open an artifact and have it applied to T4. Because of how that works, T1 will get the most artifacts, followed by T2, 3, and then 4 at the end. So early on, the only available artifacts are T1, then eventually T2, 3, and 4. Great question! As you get further and further, you unlock new artifacts which when you open they get applied to one of the available artifacts. If you have any questions or comments please post them below! With that being said, the most common follow up question is: How should I NOT spend gems?Īnything not included in this list should be considered at one point or another, but these are by far the least effective for the cost of gems.Īs always, all of this information and more can be found on our Wiki Site ( ) and our Discord ( ). For instance, Autocast may be a higher priority if you are often afk but you don’t have to max out the timer before you upgrade anything else.

My personal opinion is to do a blend of the rest - not necessarily doing one completely and then another but instead do a few here, a few there, to get the immediate benefits.Īs stated before, you don’t necessarily need to max out one upgrade before moving on to the next. The rest of the steps are a little more flexible. Resource Pack IV (optional - used specifically for Tech Scrolls if you're following a Tech-Scroll Guide)Įxotic Skill Unlocks (Nimbus/Squidler should be prioritized, followed by Treefer/Heatrash) Re-Roll Artifacts AFTER clearing wave 750 However, there are some general consensus on an order you should consider following: This is a pretty difficult one to answer, because a lot of it ends up being your preference! There's no absolute right or wrong answers, and many players have reached the top tiers of the game using wildly different routes than eachother. One of the most common questions out there is: How should I spend gems?
